• MISSION
JIMCO's mission is to create a quality product, assisting our customers in any way possible. What sets us apart is our world-class customer support, which doesn't end at the conclusion of a warranty! It continues for as long as you own the JIMCO equipment, whether that's 10 years or 30 years.
• JIMCO EQUIPMENT and PARTS BUILT TO LAST
While still in college, James Grube began rebuilding voltage regulators on a part-time basis. After graduation, he turned rebuilding into a full-time business and opened the doors of JIMCO Tech Rebuilders. James formed a partnership with his brothers, Juan and Don. The first JIMCO Voltage Regulator Tester was designed, built and sold in 1973. In 1976, the company was split into 2 separate companies: voltage regulators and test equipment. Juan Grube became President of JIMCO Inc., which manufactured the test equipment.
In May of 2020, JIMCO was sold to Ryder Keller. The company was renamed JIMCO 2.0 and continues to provide the quality of products, service and wealth of information that JIMCO is known for in the remanufacturing industry. Keller has owned and operated 2 rebuilding shops for the past 35 years. He knows how important reliability and accuracy are in the test equipment used every day. He will continue to build on JIMCO's reputation of test equipment and parts made to last and "worth the money". Many of JIMCO's test benches have been in service for 25+ years and are able to test even the latest alternators and starters in use today!
